To fully renovate a series of out-dated bathrooms at Greenhead College, Huddersfield, completed to a strict school holiday deadline.
Our Approach
Our team provided a full turn-key solution for the refurbishment and re-fit of seven college bathrooms.
After surveying and assessing the spaces, we developed modern, accessible and easy to maintain designs in line with our client’s brief. Once these designs were approved, the demolition, removal and careful disposal of all the existing fixtures and fittings took place, and the spaces were prepared for renovation.
Our team then progressed with the installation of modern bathroom suites, including contemporary ‘Colorado Oak’ colour laminate cubicles and vanity units, slip-resistant floors, fire doors, hygienic ceiling tiles, energy efficient lighting, extractor fans and hand dryers, ensuring all modern quality standards were met.
Given the facilities had to be available during term time, it was essential that our team collaborated closely with all parties at every stage of the project to ensure tight schedules were met and that there was minimal disruption during college hours.
The Result
Seven clean, contemporary, high-quality, functional bathrooms, including two DOC M compliant accessible bathrooms, successfully delivered on budget and to our client’s strict school holiday deadline.
