The Brief

To fully renovate, restore and modernise a traditional gatehouse property in Rawdon, Leeds, to create a contemporary home, whilst preserving the traditional features.

Our Approach

Working collaboratively with the architects, interior designer client and our team of specialist sub-contractors, we provided a full turn-key solution for the modernisation of this beautiful property.

Every attention to detail was given to create a unique, contemporary feel while retaining the charming character of the property. Externally, the work included renovating traditional masonry, reconstructing a large terrace, and the installation of double-glazed, heritage windows and doors. Internally, the property was fully renovated, including the installation of a modern, energy-efficient underfloor heating system, a full electrical rewire and AV system, high-quality bathrooms, and a fully-fitted bespoke kitchen, supplied and fitted by a local kitchen designer.

Our JH Bespoke Products Joinery team were integral to the successful completion of this project as they skilfully renovated the original period doors and delivered some beautiful bespoke wall-panelling and stylish fitted storage solutions.
