Accessible Wet Floor Shower Room, Drighlington
To provide a ground floor, accessible wet floor shower room for our client in their home.
Our Approach
Our team delivered a full turn-key solution for the installation of a new accessible wet floor shower room on the ground floor of a client’s home.
Working from initial draft designs provided by Leeds City Council, we developed a practical, fully compliant solution tailored to the client’s individual needs. Following a detailed assessment of the space, we carefully prepared the area for installation, ensuring the highest standards of workmanship throughout.
The completed wet room features level-access, non-slip safety flooring, a wall-mounted fold-down shower seat, strategically positioned grab rails, and a Closomat Palma Vita wash/dry toilet—all designed to support safe, independent use. The layout was optimised for wheelchair accessibility and ease of movement, with all fixtures selected for durability, hygiene, and ease of operation.
Attention to detail was key throughout the project. The client personally selected the wall tiles to suit their style preferences, and we matched the new door and ironmongery to the existing finishes in the home to ensure a cohesive look.
Our team delivered the project with care and professionalism, working respectfully within the client’s home and ensuring minimal disruption during the installation process.
The Result
A modern and functional accessible wet floor shower room, tailored to our client’s practical needs and design preferences.
What our client says…
Couldn’t have asked for a nicer group of lads to carry out the conversion of our living room to a bedroom/wetroom. Top spec work and materials, all done to high standards – would very highly recommend. Thanks.
